Fun at the Lake.......

Oh the week we have had. I have really been told by several people that I have been a bad blogger lately. Definitely true!! It has been a crazy time around the Meek house. We left on Thursday to go to my parents house. We went to the lake on Saturday and just had the best time. We went tubing, fishing, and definitly some swimming. My husband didn't think he needed but SPF 15 sunscreen and is still suffering from his burn. Jett's eyes are still a little red from all of the water. Jax had his first experience with the water and the dreaded "lifejacket!!" Whoo he hated it. First of all it just swallowed him, and second it just was so confining that he couldn't move much. I'm glad that game warden just smiled and went on with his business because trying to put a lifejacket on a 5 month old was torture!!! We had so much fun and I was glad to have spent some time with family that we don't normally get to see. My uncle Tommy has a boat and we went with him and my cousin Robin and her two girls Zoe and Emari. We definitely realized how much we love the lake and are excited to go back.

When we got home our air conditioner was broken so our house was about 90 degrees inside. Luckily our friends Steve and Laurie were gracious enough to let us stay at their house. Also while we were gone our dog Max got out and we spent another $30 getting him out of the pound. My birthday is Friday so thanks Maaee and Mom and Dad for the birthday money, it was put to good use on our air conditioner and doggy maintenance!! :(
