Long, exciting week....

We have had an exciting week. My husband is fixing to start his busy season of life and this was our last week before we dive right into his busyness. So we decided to head out of town for the week. We wanted to relax, get away, spend some quality time together as a family. Boy did we do all of the above this week. We left Friday but before we left we went to say bye to our friends Steve and Laurie. We love them as our own family and are going to miss them so very much. She is one of those friends who you can tell absolutely anything to. They are special people and are a blessing to us! The good thing is that there are cell phones and we can continue our relationship through phone. We love ya'll and will miss you very much!




After that we headed to my parents for my dad's birthday. He turns 49 this year! We celebrated with a small birthday party for him at my grandmother's house. I always enjoy hanging out with my family especially my sister Amber. Happy Birthday dad!




Then we headed to OKC for a small vacation for the week. It proved to be a rather large vacation by the time it was all over. We were able to stay with Jodie's brother Justin for the week. When we get there Jett, Jodie, Justin, Jodie's other brother Jordan and his cousin Brock all started playing the Wii. Talk about entertainment. Thanks alot Justin now I have to hear Jett asking nonstop for a Wii.
He's really pretty good at it!!

Monday we went to Frontier City. It was about 105 outside and just miserably hot!! Jett enjoyed it! He absolutely loves roller coasters. He rode everyone of them except a couple that he wasn't tall enough to ride. He is fearless. We met up with some friends while we were there. The Ortega's were lots of fun to hang out with while we were there.



Jaxon loved it. It was a little hot but we stripped him down and made sure he stayed cool!


On Tuesday we went to the OKC Bombing Memorial. It was absolutely amazing. It makes you very angry when you go just because you can't imagine how a human being can take the lives of innocent men, women, and children. The museum takes you through the events of that day. It was very well done. Jett loved it, he had lots of questions at the end of it. But it was great for him to see. It was very humbling. I am glad we had the opportunity to go.





Wednesday we went to White Water Bay. It was cloudy and very nice. Jett loves waterparks, Jax even liked it. We stayed in the baby pool with him but he didn't mind he loves the water.





We also have to say Happy Birthday to Sparky who turns 50 on Saturday. We love you!
